MPD

May 24th was one year from the day we picked up Molly - kinda crazy! Bo dubbed this day MPD, or Molly Present Day. I couldn't come up with anything better... so it stuck. For now.

We've loved having a puppy. I had wanted a dog for so long and Bo finally caved last year and let me get her. As hesitant as he was, I think it's safe to say he is just as (if not more) obsessed with her as I am. She was a lot of work at first but has been totally worth it. It's been pretty cool watching her grow over the past year and to see how much she's changed. It's hard to believe she was ever so tiny!

She was only 5 pounds the day we got her! A year later, she is full grown at 28 pounds

I found these doggie biscuits on pinterest, and decided to give it a try since I already had all the ingredients at home.  Molly was extremely interested in what I was making up on the counter.

the anticipation was killing her

While we were waiting for the biscuits to bake, I gave her the empty peanut butter jar. Her favorite treat.

They smelled so good in the oven, that Bo and I actually tried one. We thought they were absolutely terrible. I'm glad Molly loves them, since we now have quite the supply of doggie biscuits. They were pretty easy to make so we decided the recipe was a keeper - definitely a first for one we both hated!

    1. Aw, congrats again! I actually like "arrival" day a lot better, although "MAD" just doesn't seem right ;) Maybe we can make that work for our next puppy...!

  3. How cute! How did you make the treats look like bones - cookie cutters?
